Independence Cooking with Chemistry (Grades K-2)
Sept. 13, 20, 27, Oct. 4 (Thursdays)
2:45 – 4:00 pm
Cooking skills are incredibly important, and it’s never too early to start learning some of the basics! But did you know that cooking involves a lot of science? To be a great cook, you have to know your chemistry! In these fun classes, we’ll learn about the proteins in eggs, the leavening in pancakes, how to make cheese, and why you can’t melt chocolate in water!
Allergies and sensitivities will be taken into consideration. If your child has any food allergies, please contact Dr. Erin and let her know when you register!
Once you've registered, please be sure to download, print and sign the waiver, and return it to the school by the September 13.
Be sure to register for the class by Sept. 6! Seats are limited!
